Pain management specialist Christopher Voscopoulos, MD, FCCP, will lead the upcoming Sonoma Valley Hospital information session, “Conversation With A Doctor,” discussing “Understanding Pain And New Treatments In Pain Management.”
Dr. Voscopoulos is board certified in Anesthesiology, Critical Care, Pain Medicine, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and Addiction Medicine, and board eligible in Critical Care Echo Cardiography and Neurocritical Care. He will discuss the causes of pain and traditional and non-traditional pain management therapies being used to treat chronic pain. He also will discuss the challenges of living with chronic pain and share practices to make yourself more comfortable when managing a painful condition.
The next “Conversation With A Doctor” will be held on Thursday, October 3 in the Hospital’s Basement Conference Room, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm The number of attendees will be limited to allow for informal discussion and audience questions, so RSVPs are requested.
