Agenda Change Announced For July 25 Health Care District Board Special Meeting

Jul 24, 2018 | Sonoma Valley Hospital News

The agenda for the special Sonoma Valley Health Care District Board meeting on July 25 has been changed to move the discussion about closing the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) to a later special meeting to be announced. The planned meeting will still address hospital administration recommendations for OB closure and the 2019 budget.

Kelly Mather, SVH CEO, announced the change in a statement today:

“Due to the strong interest in this discussion, the capacity of the room we have available for the special board meeting, and the desire for more input from the staff, physicians and community about the SNF closure, the board chair and I have decided to remove the SNF closure proposal from tomorrow’s special meeting agenda. We will schedule a second special meeting in the near future to focus solely on the potential SNF closure and will provide details for this meeting as soon as we have them.”

Mather said the rest of the agenda still stands and the potential OB closure will be discussed.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 25, at 6 pm in the Hospital’s basement conference room. The community is invited to attend and offer comments about the Hospital proposals.
