Nutrition Talk On Healthy Eating As We Age Set For Early August

Sonoma Valley Hospital and Vintage House will present an informative health talk, “Eating With A Purpose,” on August 6 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The talk is open to the community without charge and will be conducted virtually using the Zoom platform.

In “Eating With A Purpose,”SVH’s Juliann Howlett, BS, Nutrition and Dietetics, will discuss the foundations of healthy eating, including how to set up your environment for success and build a positive relationship with food with an emphasis on our changing nutritional needs as we age.

By the end of the talk, you will better understand how to incorporate healthy meals and snacks into your day and gain ideas for many small and realistic changes that can improve your health now. There will be ample time allowed to ask questions.

There are two ways to access this talk. You can participate via televideo conferencing from your own home using the interactive platform, Zoom or, if preferred, by coming to Vintage House and viewing via Zoom in a large classroom with other community members.
