Health Talk On Insulin Alternatives For Type 2 Diabetes Medications Set for Early September

Sonoma Valley Hospital will present an informative health talk, regarding non-insulin injectables for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes on Thursday, September 2 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. The talk is open to the community without charge and will be conducted virtually using the Zoom platform. This event will be recorded and used for educational purposes along with being translated into Spanish and made available at our website.

SVH’s Pharmacist Baqara “Maya” Yoder, will give an overview of current and emerging treatments for glycemic control (hyperglycemia) for those with Type 2 Diabetes. She will explain how these non-insulin injectable medications work and why they are so effective for many to control their Type 2 Diabetes.

By the end of the talk, you will better understand non-insulin alternative treatments for Type 2 Diabetes.  There will be ample time allowed to ask questions.
